reason 后面的定語(yǔ)從句有why引導，也可以省略關(guān)系詞。如：
That is the reason (why/that) she cried.
The reason he isn’t coming is that his mother won’t let him.
(3) lose/miss
lose, miss都有“遺失、錯過(guò)”的意思，但含義和用法有所不同，lose語(yǔ)氣較強，指由于大意，不幸事故等而失去人或物，也可能永久失去曾經(jīng)擁有過(guò)的東西，可與抽象名詞連用。
He lost his son in the war.
He lost his health.
miss語(yǔ)氣弱，指需要時(shí)發(fā)覺(jué)不在身邊或眼前，還有“遺漏”的含義。
When did you miss your wallet?
He missed the chance.
(4) It’s time for sb. to do sth.
It’s time for you to go to work.
(5) mind
在回答would you mind 問(wèn)句時(shí)如表示不介意常說(shuō)： oh, no, please/ certainly not/ of course not/ not at all/ no, go ahead
如表示反對常說(shuō)：I’m sorry but I do/ I’m sorry, you’d better not/ Yes, I do.

疑問(wèn)句、祈使句的間接引語(yǔ)
1. 疑問(wèn)句的間接引語(yǔ)
疑問(wèn)句邊為間接引語(yǔ)，除應注意動(dòng)詞時(shí)體形式，人稱(chēng)代詞、指示代詞、限定詞、時(shí)間狀語(yǔ)、地點(diǎn)狀語(yǔ)的變化外，還要注意詞序的變化，也就是說(shuō)，要把疑問(wèn)句的詞序變?yōu)殛愂鼍涞恼Z(yǔ)序。一般疑問(wèn)句和附加疑問(wèn)句等的間接引語(yǔ)通常以whether/if 引導，但在引述選擇疑問(wèn)句時(shí)，通常只用whether引導。特殊疑問(wèn)句轉換的間接引語(yǔ)通常以原來(lái)的特殊疑問(wèn)詞作引導詞。如：
“Does she work downtown?”----He asked whether/if she worked downtown.
“Did you come here by car or by train?”----He asked me whether I had gone there by car or by train.
“Where are you going?”----He asked where I was going.
2. 祈使句的間接引語(yǔ)
絕大多數的祈使都是采用“說(shuō)話(huà)動(dòng)詞+賓語(yǔ)+不定式”結構變?yōu)殚g接引語(yǔ)。如：
“Please don’t disturb me.”-----He asked me not to disturb him.
“Stop speaking.”-----He told us to stop speaking.
