【考點(diǎn)一】 根據(jù)漢語意思完成句子。

電視機(jī)一定是出毛病了。

【思路解析】答案是must be,表示推測(cè)，意思是"準(zhǔn)是；一定是"。

【知識(shí)拓展】 注意must be在句子中的幾種用法。

（1）用于被動(dòng)語態(tài)中，即"must be + 過去分詞"。如：

This must be done as soon as possible.這件事必須盡快做。

（2）must be表示肯定的推測(cè)，意為"一定是"，否定的推測(cè)用cannot。例如：

I guess your father must be a computer engineer. 我猜你父親一定是個(gè)計(jì)算機(jī)工程師。

He cannot be at home at the moment. 他現(xiàn)在準(zhǔn)不在家。

【考點(diǎn)二】改寫同義句。

Until now no man has travelled farther than the moon.

No man has travelled farther than the moon so________.

【思路解析】 根據(jù)上下文意思，本題應(yīng)填far。so far意為"到目前為止"。此外until now，by now也可表示此意。

【知識(shí)拓展】 so far常與現(xiàn)在完成時(shí)連用。如：

So far, he has been teaching himself French all the time. 直到現(xiàn)在，他一直在自學(xué)法語。

so far在句子中可以直接用until (by) now替換。如：

By now (So far) they haven't seen each other. 直到目前為止，他們彼此還沒見過面。

【考點(diǎn)三】 Man-made satellites have been________into space by many countries.

【思路解析】選B。區(qū)別詞組含義：set up"搭起；建立"；send up"發(fā)射；發(fā)出"；send off = see off"送行"；send for"派人去請(qǐng)"。

【知識(shí)拓展】 send的含義有"寄；傳"或"派（人）去......"。如：

The children were sent to bed. 孩子們被打發(fā)去睡覺了。

I'll send my son to you with my message. 我會(huì)讓我的兒子帶口信給你。

send與不同的詞搭配，有不同的含義。如send away from（遣送；打發(fā)......離開）；send up（發(fā)射）； send for（派人去請(qǐng)......）；send off（為......送行）。如：

Tom is ill. We'd better send for a doctor. 湯姆病了，我們最好派人去請(qǐng)醫(yī)生來。

People have sent up several spaceships this year. 今年人們已經(jīng)發(fā)射了幾艘宇宙飛船。
