1. Erik, one of the singers in the band, is talking to Li Weiyin, a journalist from CCTV. 埃里克，樂隊(duì)里的一個(gè)歌手，正在與來自中央電視臺(tái)的記者李偉茵說話。

1) one of the...后面必須接可數(shù)名詞的復(fù)數(shù)形式，意為"......中的一個(gè)"。這一結(jié)構(gòu)作主語，謂語動(dòng)詞要用單數(shù)。如: One of the singers wasn't very good. 其中的一個(gè)歌手不是非常好。

2) singer意為"演唱者；歌手"。這個(gè)詞是由動(dòng)詞sing加上后綴-er構(gòu)成的名詞。類似的詞還有：player, worker, teacher, seller, cleaner等。

2. More than five thousand people were there. 五千多人在那里。

more than 意為"超過；多于"，相當(dāng)于over。

3. go on意為"繼續(xù)進(jìn)行"。go on常見的結(jié)構(gòu)有g(shù)o on with sth， go on doing sth等。如：1) Go on, I'm listening. 繼續(xù)說下去，我聽著呢。 2) Go on with your work. 繼續(xù)做你的事。

4. They sang some of their most famous songs. 他們唱了一些他們最著名的歌曲。

形容詞最高級(jí)前面一般要加定冠詞the，但是當(dāng)其前有形容詞性物主代詞、名詞所有格等詞語修飾時(shí)，定冠詞the要省去。如：my best friend 我最好的朋友。

5. at the end of...意為"在......結(jié)束時(shí)；在......末尾；在......的盡頭"。介詞of不能省略，這個(gè)短語既可以用來表示時(shí)間，也可以用來表示地點(diǎn)。如：1) There is a school at the end of this road. 這條路的盡頭有一所學(xué)校。 2) At the end of the story, they found the lost boy. 在故事的結(jié)尾，他們找到了那個(gè)失蹤的男孩。

6. try to do sth意為"盡力（設(shè)法）做某事"，相當(dāng)于do one's best to do sth。如：Let's try to go home before dark. 我們盡力在天黑前回家。

注意：try doing sth意為"嘗試做某事"，只強(qiáng)調(diào)試一試，不含努力的成分。如： Don't worry. Let's try doing it in another way. 不要著急，讓我們嘗試用另外一種方法來做。

7. in a hurry意為"匆忙地；迅速地"。如：He was in a hurry to leave. 他急于離開。

8. get married意為"結(jié)婚"，相當(dāng)于be married，只不過get married強(qiáng)調(diào)結(jié)婚的動(dòng)作，而be married強(qiáng)調(diào)結(jié)婚的狀態(tài)。表示"與某人結(jié)婚"時(shí)，要說be married to sb / marry sb。如： 1) Our teacher is married to his classmate in the college. 我們的老師與他的大學(xué)同學(xué)結(jié)婚了。 2) She wants to marry a rich man. 她想嫁給一個(gè)有錢人。
