【知識(shí)點(diǎn)探究】

1.I need neither my heavy winter coat nor my boots now!我既不需要厚重的冬天外套也不需要穿靴子了!

Neither …nor… 意為“既不……也不……”其含義是否定的,可連接任意兩個(gè)并列的成分。 但當(dāng)連接兩個(gè)并列主語(yǔ)時(shí),謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞應(yīng)遵循“就近原則”。

例如:Neither my parents nor I am at home today.

其反義詞組為:both…and…

2.The days are getting longer and the sun rises earlier in the morning.

句中g(shù)et 作系動(dòng)詞,后跟形容詞,意為“變得……”。例如:

Our country is getting richer and stronger. 我們的國(guó)家變得越來(lái)越富強(qiáng)。

3.Every morning, I see lots of people exercising in the park.

每天早上,我看見(jiàn)好多人在公園里鍛煉。

see sb. doing sth. 表示“看見(jiàn)某人在做某事”。 例如:

同樣, hear sb. doing sth. 表示“聽(tīng)見(jiàn)某人在做某事”。 例如:

Every morning, we can hear students reading in the classroom.

而 see/hear sb. do sth. 意思為看見(jiàn)/聽(tīng)見(jiàn)某人做了某事。

4.Others sing and dance. 其它人唱歌,跳舞。

Other 表示泛指,意為“其它的人或物”,與“ other+名詞復(fù)數(shù)”同義。The others 表示特指,與“the other+名詞復(fù)數(shù)”同義。例如:

Some children are playing football, others are playing basketball.

一些孩子在踢足球,其它的孩子在打籃球。

Two boys will go to the zoo, and the others will stay at home.
