  III. Listening

  Get the Ss listening to Cassette Lesson 60. Firstly, ask them if your pet-a dog named Dolly is ill, will you give him some pills? Then tell them there is something wrong with Tom’s dog. The doctor will give him some pills. Do you have some pills? Of course you have. What color are the pills you have had, do you remember?

  Listen to the text then do Exercise I in the workbook, read through the questions, play the tape again and find the answers, finally, check the answers with the whole class.

  IV. Presentation

  There are a lot of story about dogs. Can you tell some to us? What kinds of film did you see about a dog?(警犬卡爾,賽虎……)

  Tell the students today we are going to read a story about how the dog saves the baby .First the students read the text quickly, and find out what happened in the text. Then read the passage carefully, answer “right or wrong” . Correct the wrong statements.
